In our capacity as lenders and advisors, the professionals at Ajax have had extensive experience in restructuring and disposing of debt and equity positions collateralized by sub and non-performing real estate. In past and current positions we have been responsible for liquidating and restructuring over $2 billion of distressed real estate loans. As former bankers, we have a strong understanding of lender practices and priorities. Ajax and its affiliates have provided hands-on real estate research and analysis services to a variety of prominent lending institutions, including Greenwich Capital, Wachovia Securities, JP Morgan Chase, Countrywide Real Estate Finance and Societe General.
eXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS PROJECTS 
- Arranged a $165 million joint venture equity investment from a major global financial institution for a portfolio containing office and retail properties.
- Advised owner on the $175 million recapitalization of a 21-property portfolio of office and flex properties.
- Arranged the placement of a $59 million first mortgage on an office building with concentrated exposure to two tenants.
- Arranged the placement of a $26 million first mortgage on a shopping center with a dark anchor tenant.
